Some work begins as one thing and refuses to stay that way.

This section gathers the work I keep returning to.

Some of it stays within one medium, shaped through observation and interpretation. Some of it moves through different materials, shifting a little each time it is made again.

A scene becomes a photographic study. A sketch becomes a print. A photograph becomes a poem. A painting becomes a page, an animation, and a card.

I think of these projects less as separate outcomes and more as continuations. The idea does not repeat exactly. It changes tone, gathers new meaning, and reveals something different in the process.
